Accessibility:


Burryport Harbour is easily accessed by both public and private transport. There is both a train station and a bus-stop opposite the harbour, with a wide level footpath available for easy pedestrian access to the harbour. The harbour is situated along the Millennium Coastal Path so can easily be accessed by foot. There is a very large pay-and-display car park available with disability parking bays available. There are wide level pathways and benches situated around the harbour, along the seafront and on the surrounding grass areas. There is a toilet block available in the car park.   


Brief Description:


Burryport Harbour was originally constructed in 1832 to transport coal during the Industrial revolution. It is situated along the Millennium Coastal Path and offers exceptional views across to the Gower, it is a very popular destination with both locals and tourists. The Marina can house 250 boats, there is a lighthouse situated on the West Pier and is easily accessed from the car park. There are 2 beaches either side of the Marina for visitors to enjoy. A yacht club overlooks the harbour and offers food, drinks and outdoor seating to guests.
