Uneven ground; stone & wooden steps along the footpath up to the castle. 

Brief description:

Built by Llywelyn the Great in 1221, the castle sits on top of a flat rock in an elevated position looking over the Dysynni valley. Although now a ruin, the 'D' shaped fortress is still an imposing sight within dramatic scenery.
