Brief Description:

The original St Andrews church, also known as The Scots' Kirk, was constructed around 1832. It became the United Reformed Church in the 1970's when the Presbyterian church and Congregational church united. So the church became known as St Andrews United Reformed Church. It was around this time that the original building on Finch Road became too costly to upkeep and it was sold. Its tower and spire was kept but the rest of the church was demolished and Saint Andrews House office building is now on the site, and used as staff offices for the Isle of Man government. The congregation then moved to a smaller building at Cunningham House.
