"We are CISWO. The Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation. With a history going back to 1920, we have been a charity since 1995, working to improve lives and reduce disadvantage in coal mining communities. We are the only national charity solely focussed on supporting former coal miners and their families, other mining charities and local mining communities. Our services make a real difference to people’s lives."
