Accessibility:

There is on-site parking available, including a blue badge parking bay. There is level access into the venue, with a portable ramp down into the church. Inside is generally wheelchair-accessible. There are toilets with a disability toilet and also a kitchenette, dining area, conference and meeting rooms in a designated suite within the Abbey. 

 

Brief Description:

Crowland Abbey, also known as Croyland Abbey is a Grade I Listed church and former Medieval Monastery. It features stained glass, monuments and a small pipe organ, plus a copy of medieval manuscript the Guthlac Roll.

Opening Hours:

Open daily 8.30 a.m. until 4.00 p.m (3:00pm between November and March), apart from times when worship takes place.Guides are in the Abbey from 11am to 3pm in the winter and 11am to 4pm in the summer, except when there are services or functions taking place. Guided tours should be arranged with Mr. David Searle (tel. 07761549865).

From Peterborough (9.4 miles), Take A1139, Eye Road/A47, Crowland Road and Peterborough Road northbound to Abbey Walk in Crowland. Continue on Abbey Walk. Drive to Church Lane.

 

From Spalding (10.4 miles). Take A16 southbound to James Road/B1166. Continue on James Road. Drive to Church Lane.
