Accessibility
There is no parking directly outside the Museum, but there is a drop-off point by the Museum's main entrance access ramp. Alternatively there is tarmac parking at the main door of Bedford Hall, with a paved brick path leading to the Museum's ramp. Other parking areas have a gravel surface. Both the main door and emergency exit of the Museum have an access ramp with hand rail. There is a small lip at the doorway. There is an accessible toilet in the adjoining Village Hall, keys available from the Museum stewards. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available for free.
Brief Description
Thorney Heritage Museum displays the history and heritage of the village, from the time monks first set up a chapel and settlement on the site, through the medieval ages and on through the centuries up to modern day. There are maps, artefacts, displays and examples of what life was like during each period.

Open Sunday afternoons 2pm – 5pm from Easter Sunday to the last Sunday in September.
Arrangements can be made to open the Museum at other times, for a small charge.
Directions
Take the A47 to Thorney. Turn off on the B1040. After railway gates on your right there is a brick gateway entrance to Bedford Hall on the left. The Museum is at the left-hand end of the building.
