Accessibility:

There are limited parking spaces for blue badge holders on the Strand opposite the entrance to the museum. The nearest car park is on Bold Lane which is approximately 50 metres from the museum, which also has blue badge parking free of charge. The pavements/sidewalks around the entrance to the museum are level. There is step free level access into the museum and there is a lift that serves all floors. There are public toilets which include baby changing facilities. A fully wheelchair-accessible toilet is available on the first floor. A hearing induction loop and magnifying glass are available from reception. Staff members are available throughout the museum for any assistance required.

Derby Museum and Art Gallery is situated in the City Centre, and has longstanding and also temporary exhibitions which are from international and local sources. The Museum and Art Gallery is best known for the Joseph Wright of Derby collection.
