There is parking available at the port. There are public toilets including wheelchair accessible and baby changing facilities.


Brief Description:

Situated on the River Ouse, Goole Port is the most inland port on the east coast. Life in Goole is mainly centred around the docks and it is the busiest inland port in the country. It is a cargo port and does not serve passenger vessels, however it does provide moorings for leisure boats and there are hundreds of privately owned boats moored in the basin.

From Hull via A63 and M62 (30.1m). Take Queen’s Dock Avenue, Lowgate and High Street to Castle Street/A63. Follow A63 and M62 to East Riding of Yorkshire for 26.8 miles. Take exit 36 from M62. Take A161 to East Parade in Goole.


From Scunthorpe via M180 (28.8m). Take Doncaster Road to M181. Take M180 and M18 to Rawcliffe Road/A614 in East Riding of Yorkshire for 24.2 miles. Take exit 36 from M62. Take A161 to East Parade in Goole.
