Brief Description:

The Quilt Museum and Gallery was based in St Anthony’s Hall which is one of four remaining medieval guildhalls in York. It is a Grade I Listed Building from the 15th Century and over the years it has been a guildhall, a prison, a workhouse and a school. It was opened as the Quilt Museum in 2008 but closed permanently in 2015. Four times a year they open for mini-exhibitions for Friends of The Quilters Guild Collection.
