Accessibility:

There is no-onsite parking, and the closest car park is in Masham Market Place 0.3 miles away. There is wheelchair access in the Visitors Centre and the Brewery Tap and shop. The brewery tour is not accessible due to there being several steps. There are public toilets available.


Brief Description:

T & R Theakston Ltd is an independent, family run brewing company which was founded in 1827. It is one of Britain’s oldest family-run breweries. It is a tower style brewery using the English top-fermented brewing method. The "Black Bull in Paradise" is the Visitors Centre, where you can go to learn all about the history of the Theakston Brewery, find out about the brewing process, see the busy life of the brewery today, and sample the ales produced there. Guided tours are available, and it is also available for private evening functions and events. Please note that due to health and safety reasons children under the age of 10 cannot attend the brewery.
