Accessibility:
The village is well served with pavements with dropped-kerbs where necessary, with a pavement running the length of the Dingestow Road, under the A40 and as far as the junction with the Rhaglan road. Although there is no pavement along the Rhaglan road toward the Somerset Arms public house.
On-street parking is available throughout the village with a dedicated car park for the village hall and a parking area for the church.
The nearest public toilets are in Monmouth (SO50491253) and include disability facilities.
Brief Description:
Dingestow, a small settlement 4 miles south-west of Monmouth, was once the site of a Norman castle, the site of which can still be seen to the west of St Dingat’s Church. The village, through which flows the River Trothy, is also home to the impressive Dingestow Court, 17th century Treowen gentry house, plus a church, Post Office, modern village hall and caravan park.

Directions:
From the A40 at Monmouth drive south west and take the turn off before the tunnel onto the B4233. At the T junction turn left onto B4293 for 300 metres which then turns into Mitchel Troy. Continue along here for two miles through Mitchel Troy village. After the village take the left fork for 1.5 miles, then turn right where it is signposted to Dingestow village.
