Free Car Park for 16 spaces, with no disabled bays.

Steep path down to the site from the car park.

There is a viewpoint for disabled before the walk down to the site.

Brief description:

Fort built between 1779 and 1781 to fight against attempted French invasion in 1797.

Site provides excellent views of the local coastline and Ferry port.
