Accessibility:
There is limited parking. Access is via a gated path with several steps, so wheelchair users and visitors with mobility issues may require assistance. There are uneven pathways from both entrances to the churchyard which can be slippery in wet weather. There are no toilet facilities.
Brief Description:
St Stephens Old Church is a redundant Anglican church. Built in 1821 St Stephen's old church stands on the hillside at Fylingdales overlooking Robin Hood’s Bay. It is full of history from the North Sea fishing community. The architectural style of the church is Gothic Revival and it is a grade I listed building. It closed in 1870 when it was superseded by a new church.

Directions:
Take the A171 south out of Whitby towards Robin Hood's Bay. At the village of Hawsker, turn left at the Methodist Church onto the B1447. You will find Old St Stephen's Church along this road, on your right hand side, about a mile before you reach Robin Hood's Bay.
