Accessibility:
The only access to the museum is across a narrow wooden bridge with a stepped access and several wooden runners along its length. On the ship, all areas are divided with access only by steps or stairs. Some areas are narrow with limited space. There is a disability toilet at the north end of The Quay and a car park a further 200 metres north along the road.
Brief Description:
The museum is a replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship, the Golden Hind, and has been in Brixham for about 50 years. The Tudor ship replica uses and displays many artefacts, including canons and tools of the Tudor period.

Directions:
Enter Brixham on the west side travelling south on the A379 Brixham Road. Continue straight on the A3022 New Road into Brixham travelling north east. At the crossroads turn north into Market Street. Continue along Middle Street north until reaching The Quay. The Golden Hind Museum Ship is on the east side of The Quay.
