Brief Description:
Gunnersbury Park itself features Grade II and Grade II* listed Georgian mansions and several other historically significant buildings. This includes the two main mansions, a boat house and an 18th century temple. Overall the site has ten listed entries which includes the parkland itself.
The museum is housed in the large mansion. Our photographs were taken before the recent renovation which amongst other things increased accessibility across the whole building.
The museum features a number of grand reception rooms designed by architect Sydney Smirke in 1835 when the Rothschild family took ownership. There is also a servants’ wing with original Victorian kitchens.
The buildings and grounds can also be hired for a number of different purposes.
