Directions

From Newport, leave the town via the A3054 northwards signposted for Ryde, and then immediately fork right onto Staplers Road following the brown signage for Robin Hill.   Remain on this road and at large roundabout keep left, staying on Staplers Road signposted for Ryde and also brown signage for Butterfly World.  Remain on this road for a little while until there is a turning on the right onto Blacklands Lane and brown signage for IW Lavender. Remain on the lane until you reach a T Junction where turn right onto Briddlesford Road and then immediately left onto Combley Road following brown signage for the Railway. This road takes you all the way to the Falconry Centre and Railway Station which appear on your left hand side.

From East Cowes Ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021. Follow this road out of East Cowes and just after the entrance to Osborne House turn left at the roundabout onto Whippingham Road, which continues to be the A3021, signposted for Newport. Reman on this road until the roundabout with the junction of the A3054 where you take the first exit towards Ryde. After a short distance take a turning on the right, which is signposted for the Steam Railway through brown signage, onto Park Road.  At the mini roundabout carry straight on onto Briddlesford Road and remain on this road until a brown signage indicates a left turn for the Railway onto Combley Road. This road takes you all the way to the Falconry Centre and Railway Station which appear on your left hand side.

From Fishbourne Ferry leave terminal on B3731 until junction with A3054 where turn left towards Newport. Then first left onto Firestone Copse Road which you follow to T Junction with Main Road where turn right signposted, with brown signage, for the steam railway.  Remain on this until you pass under a bridge and the entrance for the car park for the Falconry Centre and the Railway Station appear on your right hand side.

Daily: 10.00 - 16.30

On the days that there are no steam trains running next door, there are no formal flying displays but training of the birds can be observed.
