Brief description

"The Holy Trinity Church is a Grade I* listed building, first mentioned in the Domesday Book 1066."Domesday Book - Wikipedia

"The church was rebuilt between 1390-1410, with the Bell Tower, Nave and side aisles dating from this period. The Altar table and rail date from the 17th century. A fine example of stained-glass windows, some containing Medieval glass can be seen. The church 'encaustic' floor tiles (medieval) are believed to have come from Sparshold Court Manor." Parishes: West Hendred | British History Online (british-history.ac.uk)
