Brief description

Holy Trinity, Meole Brace, is a fine, Victorian, Grade II* listed Anglican church. The present church building dates to 1869, but there has been a parish church on this site for many centuries. Holy Trinity Church, Meole Brace, together with 'Christ the King' Church, Radbrook and 'The Church of the Meet Place', Shrewsbury, collectively form the 'Trinity Group of Churches', Shrewsbury, in the Diocese of Lichfield.

Weekly Sunday services are held at Holy Trinity - visitors are welcome to these and other church activities and facilities in the Trinity Centre. Visitor Guide available.

Linked with Holy Trinity, Meoles Brace, situated next door, is the 'Trinity Centre'. This is a busy local  Anglican hub, which offers a broad range of  activities and support services for parishioners and the local community of all ages.

Holy Trinity's church building has a number of interesting features which include:

  • Many beautiful stained glass windows the majority by the famous Victorian artists William Morris and Company, Edward Burne-Jones and Forde Maddox-Brown - a very interesting guide for visitors produced by the church is at : Link .
  • The Church Tower with a peal of 8 bells.
