From Chester, head south on Northgate Street towards King Street. Northgate Street turns left and becomes St Werburgh Street, then St Werburgh Street turns left and becomes Eastgate Street. Continue onto Foregate Street. Slight right onto The Bars/A5268. Turn left onto Boughton/A51 and continue to follow the A51 for 1.6 miles. At Vicars Cross, take the 2nd exit onto Tarvin Road/A51. Continue to follow the A51 for 3.0 miles. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Holme Street/A54. Continue to follow the A54 for 2.2 miles. Turn right onto Chester Road. OS SJ 526680
