Accessibility:

The main roads in the village mostly have double yellow lines, but there are a few places along the roadside where you can park, including The Mitre public house. There is a free car park located on Main Road, but there are no disability spaces. The road to the beach, Bayr Ny Balleira, is a narrow, single-track road and there is some parking on the roadside near to the beach. There are public toilets along Main Road, but there are no disability facilities.

Brief Description:

The village of Kirk Michael (also known as Michael) sits on the west coast of the Isle of Man and looks out onto the Irish Sea. The main road (A3) forms part of the Isle of Man TT Races course. It has a sand and shale beach. Its parish church (please see its venue listing on this website) has an important collection of ancient crosses and carved stones.
