Accessibility:
Parking is extremely limited. There are parking restrictions on the road outside the church grounds, however there is room for one vehicle to park on the pavement outside the main gateway. Access to the grounds is via a wide wooden archway and there are tarmac pathways traveling to the main entrance and around the perimeter of the church. There are benches available throughout the grounds. An additional Bishop's Graveyard that can be viewed in a separate field attached to the graveyard, however access is via a grass lawn and concrete edged boarders make it difficult to access with a wheelchair or mobility scooter.
Entrance into the church is via a large wooden doorway which has 1 step, there is no ramp available. Guests are asked to keep the doors closed. Lights switches are available upon entering. Once inside there are wide walkways throughout the church and plenty of accessible seating to sit down should you need.
Brief Description:
Situated in Kirk Michael, St Michael's Church is now a Manx Museum and National Trust Site. It houses a number of ancient cross slabs which were found within the Parish and are thought to date back to the 7th - 11th centuries.

Directions:
Situated 15 miles North West of Douglas. Travel West out of Douglas Towards Peel along the A1 for approximately 6 miles. Turn right on to the A3 towards Kirk Michael for approximately 7 miles. Once in Kirk Michael, St Michael's Church can be found on the right.
