Brief description:
Lancaster Cathedral is the Catholic Parish Church for the city and was previously known as St. Peter's Church when it was consecrated on 4 October 1859. In 1924 it became the Cathedral Church of the Lancaster Diocese and has been serving the catholic parish for 150 years. In 2019 the Church celebrates its 150th anniversary with many events planned throughout its celebratory year.
