Llanfynydd is a small residential village nestled deep within the Carmarthenshire countryside between the two larger market towns of Carmarthen and Llandeilo. There is a village pub called Pen-y-Bont Inn that offers a range of drinks and meals. There is also a village Church which is opened only for Sunday services.

From Carmarthen travel East along the A40 towards Llandeilo for approximately 7.5 miles. When you reach the village of Pontargothi turn left following the sign for Llanfynydd. Continue on this road for 5 miles until you reach the village.
