There is no public car park in the village and very little on road parking due to the narrow width of the lanes. There are no pavements and care should be taken for traffic on blind bends.

Brief Description:

Llangathen village is just over 4 miles from Llandeilo in the heart of the beautiful Towy Valley. The village is most noted for the Grade II listed parish church of St Cathen and Aberglasney House and gardens.

The Village Hall - which was built in 1906 as a temperance meeting hall, financed by the Aberglasney estate, is of special architectural interest because of its cast concrete construction.

Allt y wern, a broadleaf woodland and SSSI can be found to the south-west of the village.
