Beach can be accessed from either the car park on A4080 (at the Northern end of the beach), this involves an hour and half walk, or from the Pen Cob car park in the Newborough Warren (see the venue on our website), this involves a mile and half walk through dunes to get to the beach.

Directions

Leave A55 at Junction 6 and head South towards Rhostrehwfa via A5.

Just after passing through the village, fork left onto B4422 signposted for Bodorgan.

Just after passing through Bethel, take left turn remaining on B4422.

Just after Bodorgan School merge left onto A4080, signposted to Newborough.

Follow this road through Malltraeth and continue on keeping the water on your right.

Entrance for the northern car park, mentioned above, is on the right hand side, and is signposted.

For the Pen Cob Car Park in Newborough Warren, continue on the A4080 into Newborough.

At the cross roads by the shops turn right onto Church Street following the signs for the car park.

Follow this road pass the church and continue on until you reach the access road for the main car park.

Bus Services 42 and 54 operate along the A4080 with the bus stop for service 42 in Newborough Forest just South of the Northern car park mentioned above.
