Accessibility:

There are car parks throughout the Forest, the main car park is accessed via a toll road of £5 for access to car park by beach.

Main car park is level and tarmacked with a number of Accessible Blue Badge Parking Bays.

Free access to main car park on production of Blue Badge.

"Facilities include:

  • disabled parking (free for blue badge holders)
  • accessible toilets (in Beach car park)
  • two accessible exercise stations on the Trim Trail
  • Lake View Trail (accessible trail from Llyn Parc Mawr car park)

The Bikequest Nature Challenge and the Corsica Bike Trail are suitable for people using adaptive equipment.

Adaptive equipment includes adaptive cycles, adaptive wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Nature Reserve, operated by Natural Resources Wales, with signposted walking, running and cycling Trails through area and giving access to sandy beach.

"There are no staff based at Newborough.

The toll booth at the Beach car park barrier is staffed on Wednesdays and on Saturdays only from 9am to 11am. The staff member can issue season tickets and give out leaflets and orienteering maps.

Directions:

Leave A55 at Junction 8A and take A5 to Llanfairpwll

Just before town centre take left turn onto A4080 signposted for Newborough.

In Newborough village turn left onto Church Street.

Follow this road pass the church and continue on until you reach the access road for the main car park.
