Accessibility:

There are three blue badge parking spaces in the car park on the left hand side of the road leading into the Albert Dock. Another four designated blue badge spaces are available in the on-street parking on the approach road, which are slightly further away from the museum building. Charges apply for parking in both these areas. There are also 6 spaces at the new Museum of Liverpool, but these must be pre-booked. Most sites have adapted toilet facilities. Guide dogs are welcome.

Brief Description:

The museum’s collections reflect the international importance of Liverpool as a gateway to the world, including its role in the transatlantic slave trade and emigration, the merchant navy and the RMS Titanic.

The Maritime Museum is just under a mile to the South of Liverpool city centre, via the A5036, and then West onto Hartley Quay. OS SJ 340898.
