Accessibility:

Free parking is available along the street in front of the museum. Toilets are available behind the Town Hall, and there is a disability toilet at the Castle Kitchen Café, (please see this website's venue entry for it) 70 yards east of the Town Hall. Due to the age of this building access for those with disabilities is limited. Please call ahead before planning your journey to enquire further. There is also a defibrillator on the external wall of the Montgomery Institute, directly opposite the museum.

Brief Description:

This is a 16th century Inn called the Old Bell, that has been converted into a local history museum. With exhibitions spanning through eleven rooms, this local museum is run by dedicated volunteers.

1st April to 30th September. 1.30pm-5pm, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Open every day in August. 10.30am-5pm Saturdays and Bank Holidays.

Entrance Fees: Adults - 1.00. Children(under 16yrs) 50p.
