The garden is partially accessible by wheelchair users and volunteers will advise on appropriate routes. There are occasional benches within the garden space and courtyard.

1. Natural light in the house is fairly good, lighting achieved by a variety of lamps and ceiling. There is use of fluorescent lighting in two rooms.

3. The toilet facility is within the main house.

Brief description

"15th-century half-timbered yeoman's house, featuring a great hall and surrounded by glorious garden, orchard and meadows.

A perfect example of a Wealden Hall-House, it is full of beautiful collections of furniture, wood and metal work.

Wonderful woodland walks over the Otham Valley can begin from here."
