Accessibility:

The racecourse has its own disability car park near to the new main entrance. Wheelchair access is good throughout its buildings, including the betting halls. Disability-accessible viewing is located at the front of the Paddock Grandstand. There is disabled access to parts of the parade ring. All paddock enclosure areas have an accessible toilet.

Brief Description:

Newton Abbot Racecourse began in 1866 and slowly developed over the years into an established popular national racing venue. The main grandstand was opened in 1969 and has continued to add many features. It has a busy racing schedule throughout the year.

Directions:

Travelling south towards Newton Abbot on the A380 Besigheim Way, take the exit onto the A383 west onto Teignmouth Road. Follow the A383 and go straight over on the round-a-bout onto Greenhill Way. At the next round-a-bout turn south along Newton Road. The racecourse entrance is on the west side of Newton Road.
