There are a number of car parks around the Castle with a short walk to the Castle from them ~ closest being Church Street or Burley Road Car Parks.

Directions
Leave the A1 at the Oakham A606 Junction and take the A606 towards Oakham. Remain on A606 following the signs for Empingham, Whitwell and Oakham. A little while after passing through Whitwell and the North Shore Car Park, go straight ahead at the roundabout onto B640 towards Oakham.
At the mini-roundabout turn right towards the Town Centre and brown pedestrian signage for the Castle. Go straight over the next mini-roundabout remaining on the B640.
There is a small amount of limited time parking in Market Place on your first right after the roundabout, otherwise carry on a short distance before turning right onto Church Street and the short stay car park is opposite the church.
