 Accessibility:

Disabled parking for badge holders is directly opposite the church on West Street. Further north along West Street is a car park on Kingsbridge Lane. The car park has a single space for wheelchair users but no blue badge parking. At the junction of Kingsbridge lane is a public disability toilet. The main entrance to the church is along the driveway through wrought iron gates. The entrance doorway has a 2” stone step. A plastic ramp is available on request.

Brief Description:

Dating back to the 12th century, St Andrews Church on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, was rebuilt in the 15th century following dereliction. Later modifications up to the 18th century were extensively reworked by the Victorians in a neo- Gothic style. The church offers a full programme of services and activities for the local community

Opening Hours:

Sunday: 08:00am Holy Communion and 10:30am Family service
On the second, third and fourth Sunday's of every month: 10:15am Junior church and 13:30am Family Communion
Wednesday: 10:30am Holy Communion
The Church is open daily: 10am-3.30pm (winter), 10am-4pm (summer).

Directions:

From the north or south travelling on the B3352, head towards Ashburton. On entering Ashburton on the B3352 West Street, St. Andrew’s Church is located on the east side of the road if travelling north and the west side if travelling south. The church lies along the corner of West Street and St. Andrews Close.
