For those looking for a classic medieval church in the unspoilt rural idyll of North Essex your search will be rewarded. St Mary is a medieval grade 1 listed church, dating from the 11th Century.
We host high quality Chamber Concerts, providing a platform for some of the best young classical musicians to play in our community. These are non-profit making and as well as making use of our historic building and allowing us to enjoy an almost spiritual connection with the highest calibre of music, they encourage the careers of young professional musicians. The church has an active bell ringing community who meet twice-weekly.
