Flamborough is north east of Bridlington, on a promontory. The main church entrance on Church Street has one rough, cobbled step about two feet wide, followed by two stone steps leading up to the well-maintained path to the main entrance. A blue church noticeboard is outside the entrance, on Church Street. The church is surrounded by a stone wall. It is open every day from early morning until dusk. A Visitors' Guide is available to purchase. 

Brief description

A well-maintained, tranquil parish church. It has a square tower and a blue church clock facing down the graveyard, which has many gravestones, mostly upright. Beside the south door is a plaque dedicated to fishermen who lost their lives in 1984. There are 14 Stations of the Cross which are mostly associated with the Roman Catholic church. There is also a striking rood, loft and screen dating to the Middle Ages.

Directions

Pedestrians can enter the church grounds through a gate on Lily Lane, up three stone steps to the flagstone path that leads to the church entrance. However the main entrance is through an iron gate onto Church Street, the B1255 road.

Transport

Take the B1255 from Bridlington. The church stands on rising ground to the south.

Parking is along the sides of fairly narrow roads.

Services: 1st to 4th Sundays of the month: 8am and 10.30am; Thursdays 10.30am; Morning Prayer 8am Tuesday to Friday.

A few fish and chip shops and pubs are nearby.
