Leave M4 at Junction 28 and take the A48 east towards Newport City Centre.

At roundabout keep left onto B4237 towards city centre.

Remain on this road, Cardiff Road, following the signs for the City Centre.

On passing a park on your left hand side, get in the right hand lane to turn right at the traffic lights, onto Mendalgief Road, signposted for Pillgwenlly.

This road is the west side of the District. If you take a turning off to the left into Marion Street, this will take you into the heart of the District.
