The museum is all set on one level, the slate shed is small but fully accessible for wheelchair users Guide dogs are welcome. Free parking on Lombard Street to rear of museum.
Brief Description:The Maritime Museum is located in the last remaining slate shed on the harbour, the museum has many artefacts from Porthmadog's important slate exporting history.

Directions:
29 miles S of Bangor via the A487 and A497 into the centre of Porthmadog, take first right before the bridge museum ahead. OS SH 569 384.
Opening Times:
Open March to end of October, Tuesday to Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-4pm including all bank holidays. Closed Monday and Fridays during school term.
Adult : £2.00 each. Family Ticket : £4.00. Unattended Children : £1.00 each.
