Brief Description:
The Isle of Man Steam railway travels parallel to Alexandra Road. It is an automated crossing with access to a private property. A small wooden hut remains next to the crossing which was originally manned before the automated system was installed. Parking is available opposite which allows trainspotters the opportunity to view the passing trains.

Located 10 miles South West of the capital Douglas, in Castletown.
Follow the A5 from Douglas to Castletown. Pass the airport on your left. Then take the 3rd exit, turning right on the roundabout onto Victoria Road. Continue to the next roundabout and take the 2nd exit, turning right carrying along the A5. Castletown Railway Crossing is located on the right opposite Milner Terrace.
