Museum is adjacent to South Street public car park, which has two disability parking bays directly outside the Museum entrance.
The Museum is accessible, although here are a couple of stairways to reach some of the displays.

Directions
Leave the A1 at the Oakham A606 Junction and take the A606 towards Oakham. Remain on A606 following the signs for Empingham, Whitwell and Oakham. A little while after passing through Whitwell and the North Shore Car Park, go straight ahead at the roundabout onto B640 towards Oakham.
At the mini-roundabout turn left following the brown signage for the Museum, which appears on the right hand side.
To access the car park turn right just after the building, onto South Street and then right again into South Street Public car park. Drive to the end of the car park to park near the entrance to the Museum, where there are 2 disability parking bays.
