The grounds and graves are unpaved.

From the porch, the church's interior is reached via a step.

A portable ramp is available in the porch entrance. 

The Nave is accessed via a step. 

The central aisle leads to the Chancel and Altar and is accessed by several steps.

Brief description

"Church of St James the Great' is a Grade II* listed building dating from AD 1100 (Norman/12th Century). The north aisle, south doorway, and Chancel date from this period. The West Tower and South Porch date from the 14th-15th century." The church was later restored in 1860 by William White, William_White (architect) - Wikipedia
