Accessibility:

The church is located behind numerous buildings and there are several ways into the grounds, all of which are flat and suitable for wheelchair users. Parking is available in the castle car park with, three disability spaces or on-street parking is available on the other streets where there are entrances - High Street and A547.

Brief Description:

The Church of St Mary and All Saints was originally the Cistercian Aberconwy Abbey until King Edward I of England moved the Abbey to Maenan in 1283.

The Grade I listed building's foundations date from 1172 with the abbey being completed in 1186. The tower was completed in two phases during the 14th and 15th centuries, with the south transept and north and south porches also being added in 14th century. The rood screen and font were added in the 15th century, the roofs over the aisles were raised in the 16th century and the roof over the nave was raised in 1872, with a memorial chapel being added in 1921.
