Directions:
St. Mary Church, Crosthwaite is 4.78 miles/7.69 kilometres west of Kendal. From Kendal follow the Underbarrow Road west crossing under the A591 and following the sings for Crosthwaite. The road follows Thorns Lane, Blackbeck Brow, Hollin Bank Hill and Totter Bank. On arrival at Crosthwaite the church will become visible on the south side of the road.
