Brief Description:
St Mary's Church was built in the twelfth century and was restored during the nineteenth century. As of 1968, it became a grade II listed building and is currently cared for by a dedicated group of volunteers who ensure its history is remembered and care for the community of Bucknell.

Bucknell is on the scenic Heart of Wales Line and the station is an easy walking distance from St Mary's Church. The regular 740 and 738 Arriva bus service loop, between Knighton and Ludlow, also serves the village.
