Brief Description:
The present Grade II listed church replaces a medieval building which likely predates 1254 and is entirely Early Georgian.
It was built of rubble stone in 1716 with north and south aisles and a tower - which is believed to date from 1727. The nave, completed in 1723, is divided from the aisles by wooden beams. The church was restored in 1864.
