Brief description

"St. Michael's Church" is a Grade I listed building dating from the 12th century (1150).

The church was later remodelled and restored during the 13th century.

The Porch door is a fine example of a plank door with wrought-iron strap hinges.

The Nave, Chancel, and North Porch date from the 12th century.

The Chancel Arch was added during the 13th century.

The Chancel Screen dates from the 15th century, and doors were added during the Georgian period between 1714 -1837.

The carved wooden lectern and prayer table is Jacobean (1603-1625).
