There is not a car park at the church and parking is restricted directly outside the building. However, pay and display parking is available close by and there is an NCP car park located nearby at Churchill Square.
The area around the church is sloped and there is a brick walkway to the entrance.

Brief description
The original parish church of Brighton, the Church of Saint Nicholas of Myra is dedicated to St Nicholas - the patron saint of sailors and fishermen.
A Grade II listed building, the Anglican church is the second oldest building in Brighton and its current structure dates back to the mid-14th century.

Brighton is approximately a 1.5-2 hour car journey from London.
If travelling from London, follow the A4 to M4, then take the M25 and M23 to the A23 in West Sussex. Continue along the A23 and drive to Church Street in Brighton.

The church is usually open for visitors on Wednesday and Saturday from 12noon until 14:00.

Train: St Nicholas' Church is approximately a 15-minute walk from Brighton Train Station.
The journey time from London to Brighton by train is just under an hour, and there are regular services departing from London Bridge and London Victoria. Other train services from the east coast and west coast travel into the city.

St Nicholas' Church is in a very central location of Brighton. The church itself has lots of green space where you can take a small stroll or sit on a bench. It is made up of three areas which include St Nicholas' Churchyard, the Children's Garden and the Rest Garden.
Churchill Square Shopping Centre is a 10-minute walk away, and in another direction, you can reach North Laine with its variety of independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Close by, there are plenty of tourist attractions, including The Booth Museum, Brighton Toy & Model Museum, The Royal Pavilion and Gardens and Brighton Beach.
