Accessibility:

Main entrance to church is on the Finch Road side. From pavement there is a small lip to the entrance of the church, where is then a small stone step up into the doorway. Parking at the church is limited, however there is a multi storey car park situated along Market Street and will be on your right hand side just up past the church, next to M & Co.


Brief Description:

St Thomas's church was designed by architect Ewan Christian, between 1846 and 1849 in early Victorian gothic style.

Directions:

Situated 1/3 mile (536 kilometres) north of the centre of Douglas, just west of the Loch Promenade and seafront. If travelling to Douglas from the North East it is 7.1km from Baldrine. Head SW on A2. After 4.9km take 2nd exit at roundabout onto Govenor's Road (A2) . At next roundabout continue straight over (A2). Take first exit at next roundabout onto Victoria Road. Continue on Victoria Road to the end and at crossroads turn left onto Broadway. At fork in road keep right, onto Harris Promenade. You will come to an island/roundabout, bare right to stay on Harris Promenade/ first exit, onto Church Road Marina. Continue along a short way and the church will be in front of you as you reach the junction for Finch Road. OS SC 382760 .
