Accessibility:

Limited parking is on the verge of the lane by the church grounds. No disability bays are available. Access is through a gated entrance across flat ground but on thick grass which covers a large area in front of the church making wheelchair access difficult without support. The church is wheelchair-accessible with flat floor interiors although some floor tiles are loose and make areas uneven.

 

Brief description:

St Wilfrid Church dates around the 13th century and has striking features of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. A featured 15th century stained glass shows St. James with a roundel above his head. Other features include the pulpit, piscina and font.

Directions:

The church in Low Marnham lies 15.57 miles/25.06 kilometres to the west of Lincoln. From Lincoln travel on the A57 north west towards Burton Waters. Follow the A57 along Lincoln Road and Gainsborough Road until reaching Newton-on-Trent. Cross the River Trent on the A57 ‘Dunham Road’ and at the junction take the exit south along Main Street towards Ragnall. Continue to the triangle junction of Gracefield Lane and turn east along the lane towards Low Marnham. On entering the village the church will become visible on the south side of the lane.
