The Pottery and Gallery has no car park but on-street parking is available nearby. Pedestrian access to the Pottery Visitors Entrance is through either of two single gateways to the Pottery yard. Both entrance gates have one-step access up from the pavement beyond on Church Street; wheelchair-users may require assistance to negotiate the gateways. The entrance/exit to the Pottery and Gallery building itself is wheelchair accessible.

Situated on Church Street in Steeple Bumpstead village between the B1057 (Great Dunmow-Haverhill road) and the B1054 roads.

• Audley End (13.4 miles/ 21.6 kms). This station  is fully accessible ( bridge with lifts providing access between platforms 1 & 2). No accessible toilet or baby changing facilities; ladies and gents toilets available. Waiting room. Ticket office has induction hearing loop. Local buses stop opposite station entrance. Taxi rank on station concourse. NCP Car park with 4 disabled parking spaces.  Newsagents shop on station concourse. 

By Bus

Bus Service Number  60 serves route between Audley End Railway Station and Steeple Bumpstead Village. Alight at Steeple Bumpstead Post Office ( four minutes' walk to the Pottery and Gallery).   33 minutes' bus journey. Limited bus service only. Ensure to check availability and bus times before travelling. 

Amenities

Meals and other refreshments are available nearby within Steeple Bumpstead Village at the Fox and Hounds Inn and at the Red Lion. Toilet facilities including disabled toilets are available at both Inns for their customers.

Bed and breakfast accommodation is also available at the Red Lion.

A variety of other refreshment facilities and visitors' accommodation are also  available in the nearby market town of Haverhill ( 3 miles away) and in the surrounding area.
