Accessibility:

Disability Toilet is available. Level parking and disability parking only 50 metres from the Mill entrance. Car park is pay and display car park, but is refunded for member and guided tour visitors on admission. The mill car park has six spaces plus six disabled spaces. This car park is 50 metres from the reception and mill entrance. The top car park has parking for ten cars (and three coaches) and is 200 metres from the mill reception. Please note there is only wheelchair access to ground floor.

Transport:

Lecks 538 (Thu only) passes the site. Alternatively Stagecoach service X6 & Lecks 518 or Blueworks summer service X32 to Newby Bridge and then 1 1⁄2 mile walk. Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway’s Lakeside terminus is 3⁄4 mile walk.

Amenities:

A vending machine is available for hot drinks, the shop sells snacks and there are picnic benches if you would like to bring a picnic. There is a small gift shop.
