Brief Description:

The Magic of Butterfly House is a collection of some of the largest and most colourful butterflies in the world. You can walk freely amongst the butterflies and moths in the tropical house. There is always something different to see, including tropical plants - Passion flowers, Bananas, Birthworts and Cannas – and a collection of insects.

Directions:

From Aberystwyth on the A44, head for Capel Bangor, continue past the turning for the horse-riding school and the Tyn Lyddeart public house on your left. Take the next turning on the right signposted for 'Cwm Rheidol'. Passing the church on the right, follow the valley road up for 3.5 miles and the butterfly house is on the left next to the Rheidol Visitor Centre.

There are no amenities at the venue itself, but you can visit the café in the Rheidol Visitor Centre and Power Station located less than half a mile away (SY23 3NF/SN708792). There is also a café and hotel with a bar and restaurant at Devil’s Bridge about 6.5 miles away (SY23 3JL/ SN741770).
